How can i make my chinchilla stop peeing in his food dish?

June 9th, 2010 by admin | 6 Comments | Filed in Asnwers

I’ve had him for a month or so and i have to change his food everyday if not more often because he’ll pee in his food. It makes the pellets all mushy and makes my room stink. Is there anyway to make him stop?

What is something I can use to determine which of my cats is peeing outside the litter box?

May 19th, 2010 by admin | 8 Comments | Filed in Asnwers

I have a total of 4 cats, and one of them (hopefully just one) is peeing outside of the litter box. I know there’s a product I can get to determine which cat it is, but my vet’s receptionist is an idiot – she didn’t listen to my question and wants me to bring the cat in (duh, I don’t know which one to bring in, which is why I need some help here). I can’t afford to have all 4 cats tested. So, does anyone know of a product that can help me figure this out?

Thanks!
While I appreciate all of your answers (especially the Cat Attract one – I’ll have to look into that), I suppose I should have gone into more detail. I do keep the boxes clean and I think I know the problem – this started when we got our 4th cat, so someone is upset with me. Either way, my question wasn’t any more or less than what is the product I can use to spot a specific cat’s pee. I know something’s out there (I’ve heard of it before), I just can’t remember what it is. Unfortuantly, a video camera won’t work because it’s not the same spot every time. Thanks for all your thoughts – keep ‘em coming! :-)

Will spreading vinegar on a black marble wall prevent dogs from peeing on the wall?

May 17th, 2010 by admin | 1 Comment | Filed in Asnwers

My neighbor believes that spreading vinegar on the wall of the building will repel dogs. I have heard other attributes to vinegar but not this. There may be a chance the vinegar will destroy the shine of the marble.
