the inflection thing i know, but how do you figure out extrema when not permitted a graphing calculator? i tried using first & second derivative test but couldn’t do it. i mean i know a change in signs in 1st deriv implies maxima or minima, but how can you be certain for an ENTIRE function?

Okay so I’m growing out my hair. It is at 2 1/2 inches. I’m growing it out to about 4 inches. Its at the start of that puffy awkward stage.
My hair is puffy. I blow dry it and Iron it but the hair is still puffy. Is there any way to make it not puffy without having to make it look wet and sticky.
I have to make an egg drop project using only paper and tape. The down side is, i can’t make or use a parachute. The paper i have is three feet by two feet and the tape can only be used for taping. In other words i can’t use tape to make a cover or something. I have some ideas but i need a little more to make this actually work. If you have any ideas and could help that would be great. Oh and the more creative the design is the more credit i get. Thanks!

I need to know how to lose weight without looking I am dieting or anything. My mom won’t let me lose any weight but I think I need to lose some weight. The thing is I don’t want her to know I am dieting, so what is a good way to diet without her noting it?
I’ve tried making chocolate sorbet and chocolate ice cream. Whenever I add the cream or milk to the chocolate, it seizes. So I stir and stir and stir for a very long time and it looks smooth with small chunks. But then I make the ice cream and it isn’t smooth at all. Please help. I’m trying to make it for a birthday party.
Make up remover wipes break me out, Are there any other ways to remove make up without using wipes? I tried just using soap and water to remove the make up but that doesn’t get all the make up off. I wash and moisturize my face after removing the make up.
I am about to be employed by a company in Ireland. I presume I would be getting a European Union Work Permit? Which other countries is the work permit good for (a) employment or (b) travel?
What I mean to ask is, can I also work in some other countries with that work permit, or its only for Ireland? Which other countres can I visit (just for leisure) without requiring a Visa?
